Since the traditional architecture of access a PACS systems is based on a client-server model, they can be used simultaneously by various users, locally as well as remotely. However, the client-server architecture of these systems also presents certain configuration, maintenance and exploitation difficulties. This work proposes an architecture that is not only based on the DICOM standard, but also on a Web model, which eliminates the previously mentioned problems
